Chapter 29
Chapter 29
29
Reza was the only one who hadn't seen the big bed for a long time. In the middle of the night, Reza turned over in a daze, and touched the empty bed with his big hands for a long time.
Resa murmured, and opened his eyes quietly, the warm body in his memory turned into a cold sheet, Resa's tone was low with obvious anger.
"Let that girl get out as soon as possible!"
In the early morning of the next day, at the dining table, Resa looked at the intimate communication between the two in front of him with an unkind expression. Facing Lisa, Ian always smiled lightly and listened patiently to the chattering of the little girl in front of him. .
This was probably the first time in Resa's life that a woman's voice was really noisy.
Reza let out a long breath and resisted the urge to run away, picked up the coffee and took a sip.
From an angle he couldn't see, Ian still had a smile on his lips, and he was clearly looking at him out of the corner of his eye.
"Why don't you eat?"
The strong aroma of coffee calmed Resa's anger slightly, and when he raised his head again, those blue eyes returned to their former calmness, looking at him quietly.
"I don't have much appetite, you know? I always like to hug something when I sleep. It just so happened that my pillow wasn't there yesterday."
Reza raised his head and looked back at Ian with a smile, interested to see how Ian reacted.
Ian blinked, drank the milk silently and did not answer, and Resa was not angry, and turned to Lisa.
"Miss Lisa, according to what you said earlier, you got lost with your companions, didn't you?"
"Well," Lisa answered in a low voice, and then grabbed Ian's hand again: "Fortunately, I found you!"
Reza forced himself to look away from those nasty claws, pointing his fingers on the table irritably, smiling.
"It's a pity, your companion must be very worried about you. Look at this, I'll send someone to take you to look for it, and I will definitely bring you back to your companion safely."
"Really?" Lisa looked at Resa in surprise.
"Of course, since you are Ian's friend, it is impossible for me not to help." Reza put his hands on his lips, looking at the other's expression with satisfaction.
"Great!" Lisa took Ian's hand happily: "Ian, come back with me!"
"boom!"
Reza is holding a broken cup handle, the smile is still on his face, and the table is full of spilled coffee.
"Sorry, I didn't know the quality of the glasses in the restaurant was so poor."
Reza put down the fragments of the glass, took out a handkerchief and wiped his hands. After wiping, Reza paused suddenly, and a few seconds later he slammed the white handkerchief on the table.
It's hard to imagine how much effort Reza used to get the effect of throwing his cards out of a shot put.
The table made a dull sound, and even a few drops of milk splashed out in front of Lisa.
Resa looked at Lisa sternly: "He can't go with you."
Lisa was obviously frightened by the huge contrast of the other side for a few minutes before and after. Facing such a menacing man in front of her, Lisa turned her eyes to Ian as if asking for help.
Reza turned his eyes slightly, and looked at Ian with frosty eyes as if seeking proof.
"Are you going with him?"
The blue eyes still met his four eyes as in memory, Ian's hand was tightly held by Lisa, but his eyes were quietly looking at the man opposite.
"Everyone is worried about you, Ian, come back with me?"
Lisa's earnest voice was in his ears. Ian lowered his eyes and saw that the small hands holding him were covered with fine wounds. Ian held her back and said, "Don't worry."
There was the sound of harsh metal scraping across the floor.
Reza kicked the table away expressionlessly, threw away the old etiquette and politeness, and walked out without giving the two people on the table a look.
Ian blinked, silently watching the back of the other party leaving.
Lisa asked suspiciously: "Ian?"
Ian turned to look at him: "Don't worry, even if I'm not here, everyone will be fine."
In the silent corridor, there was a sound of rhythmic footsteps. When the crew on duty saw Resa walking towards him in the cold, his hairs stood on end, and he stood up straight.
"Mr. First Mate—"
Before he could finish speaking, another crew member beside him covered his mouth and took him away.
Fortunately, Reza only regarded the two as air, and walked over without turning his eyes.
The first officer walked away, and the crew member was terrified and said to his companion: "Are you crazy? Fortunately, he didn't see the two of us, otherwise, do you want to work for nothing for a year?"
The old god of the companion responded: "You didn't see his face just now, believe me, if you just said hello, you have been working for nothing for three years."
I don't know how many people were frightened along the way. There was only the rhythmic sound of black boots stepping on the floor in the corridor. After walking for an unknown amount of time, Resa paused and stopped.
Resa turned his head and glanced at the young boy who was following behind him at some point, his tone was slightly alienated.
"Is something wrong?"
"It's your business."
The young man stared at Resa's cold face: "What's wrong with you?"
Reza turned to face Ian, his black eyes looked at Ian quietly, and his thin lips lifted for a while.
"I'm thinking about something."
Ian didn't speak, quietly waiting for Resa's next words.
"If you use night hunting as a cage, and keep a smart and agile little wolf, will it be small?"
Ian lowered his eyes, and his eyelashes cast a thin shadow under his eyes. After thinking for a while, the boy said, "You want to lock me up?"
"If I say yes, will you try to escape?"
Ian's eyes were clear, and the corners of his mouth were slightly raised. When he was about to speak, Reza suddenly chuckled.
"I'm kidding. Don't take it seriously. I'm just a little... reluctant, you know."
Saying that, Resa ignored Ian, turned around and left.
In the captain's cabin, Andy put the documents he brought in order, and tidied up the table for Bellamy carefully, taking great care not to disturb the two people who were working on the table.
Bellamy said cautiously: "Uh, what, what do you do?"
"Is it okay?" Resa absently changed his hand to support his head: "I feel a little bored, so I came to sit with you."
Am I here to relieve your boredom?
Of course, Bellamy didn't have the guts to say such clever words in front of the current Reza.
Bellamy swallowed: "Actually, I also heard from the crew that your little pet that you have raised for several months is leaving, right? This kind of thing is quite sad."
Bellamy straightened her clothes, and suddenly straightened her waist, smiled politely at Andy who brought the coffee, and said thank you tactfully.
I don't know where the words just now hit Reza's nerves, a sharp look swept over, and Bellamy's shoulders collapsed again.
"I said, why don't I give you a vacation to go out to relax or something, and just find an excuse not to see him. It's not a problem for you to be like this all the time, is it?"
Resa lacked interest: "I'm not interested, besides, there's been a lot of night hunting recently, so let's go out after a while."
"Resa," Bellamy whispered, glancing at Andy, who was standing far behind and planning the navigation chart, "You're not really interested in that kid, are you?"
Just as Resa was about to speak, the door of the captain's office was opened, and Ian walked in with a pile of documents.
"Can my captain's office still be a public bathroom, and you can come if you want?"
Ignoring Bellamy's fury, Ian walked straight towards Resa.
Resa looked at the other party lightly: "What's the matter?"
Ian nodded: "I'll start a small stove."
The author has something to say: Ian: Qi Qi, can you let me finish my sentence! ! !
