Chapter 146. Spiritual Transformation

As Aion condensed the sigil mark on his forehead, his spiritual energy also sublimated to his self and the universe sensed the changes immediately.

The same process followed as the universe laws descended. This time before they could do anything, the sigil mark on the forehead of Aion flashed and he simply covered everything around him with the sigil.

A domain of black surrounded him completely and when the universe laws tried to do anything, they were devoured completely.

As if they were enraged, the laws descended more forcefully and the result remained the same. Aion slowly opened his eyes and looked around him.

When he sensed the changes around him, he sighed and spoke,

"I know you work on instincts but I promise that unlike others, I’ll repay you in the future so please return this time."

He was muttering to himself but he knew that he still needed to take action. But he was surprised when he saw that the universal laws stopped and slowly returned as if they had heard him.

He was dumbfounded when he saw that but he didn’t dwell on that. He broke through twice as he didn’t know how much time had passed.

He simply focused on stabilizing his realm and when he sensed the changes in him, he was once again surprised because he is a high soul lord in soul cultivation and mid-level spiritual transformation, not far from high.

Aion sighed and muttered,

"Who says that cultivation is difficult? I am here cultivating like eating the mortal food."

From the food he recalled the last time he ate food.

After that, he left the place

While Aion was breaking in the spiritual transformation, the situation of those around him was truly surprising.

Nox was already on the verge of entering when he sensed the black dots condensing around the house which literally devoured everything but then the universal laws descended.

The dots stopped absorbing. Just as Nox and others sighed in relief then, to their horror, the black dots started absorbing the universe’s laws itself.

Moonfern and the old man trembled at the sight because this never happened before. A Lord realm cultivator is erasing the existence of the laws which are something that only a void realm cultivator can do.

When everything calmed down, they finally sighed in relief and waited for that monster to come.

On the other side, while Aion was breaking in the lord realm, Erebus opened his black eyes and looked somewhere in the universe.

His eyes seemed to devour the entire universe. He muttered,

"The best way to stop the attention from those is to attract them. I never thought that they would be so much rooted in this universe. It seems that this great cleansing will bring the future of this galaxy on line."

No one knows what is the meaning behind these words but those at his realm will be shocked if they heard that.

Then Erebus raised his snake head and let out a long screech. The laws around him crushed like paper and devoured them with no hesitation.

As his darkness domain spread, the laws of the universe itself fractured from that domain area and even the last layer of the universe law was trembling.

Erebus exerted a little more effort and then there was a CRACK sound in the entire universe which only beings at his level can feel.

With that crack, a face appeared not far from and looked at him with an expressionless face. Erebus also stopped and looked at that face.

No one spoke and no one dared to interfere. Just then the other two prying eyes also landed on Erebus.

He saw this and he snorted and then he coiled himself and entered sleeping mode once again.

The face that condensed also disappeared and, in the space, somewhere,

A phantom also opened his eyes and spoke,

"That vile beast just looked at me with warning in his eyes. Did he notice something?

Should I remove it? No, no, no. He is so much stronger than me. Even if I contended with my brush in the past, I could barely suppress him. Now my treasure is not even complete. I can only call the Grand Priest and Head Priest if I want to remove this beast from my path."

With that, the mysterious figure once again closed his eyes.

When Jin appeared outside, he saw that everyone was looking at him.

Nox sighed in relief and he stepped forward and hugged Jin like his life depended on him. He whispered,

"You are safe. I got so scared when your life was slipping. I wanted to come but then I stopped.

When the black dots appeared around the house, I wanted to barge in and look for you."

Jin was stunned by this closeness. He felt slightly awkward. He was smart when it comes to emotions. How can he not sense the emotions that Nox has towards him but he can’t reply to him. He already has Aion and didn’t want to disappoint him.

He spoke in a soft tone,

"Okay, calm down. I was going through my tribulation and nothing else."

With that, he stopped Nox from continuing hugging him and looked at the ancient tree clone and Moonfern. He smiled and spoke,

"Thank you senior for protecting me. Moonfern, I also want to thank you for being present here."

But he got no reply from them. He looked at them and saw they were looking at his forehead. Nox also noticed their strangeness and looked at Jin’s forehead.

Only now did he notice and it was too late for him to avert his eyes.

On Jin’s forehead, at the centre, a black hole like sigil mark was present. It was like a third eye that was pure black and looking at them.

On the borders of the top side, a silver curtain like thread is falling. On the right side at the bottom of the black hole, the silver curtain continued to fall.

The part between the top and bottom of the curtain is hidden behind the black sphere. But the black sphere is emitting a strange fluctuation which is causing everyone to feel as if their souls are stripping away from them slowly.

Jin also noticed this. He hurriedly recalled his sigil and soul mark. With the disappearance of the mark and the sigil, the three woke up immediately.

Moonfern and the old man looked at Aion with sheer horror. But Nox looked at Jin with determination.

Jin spoke,

"Sorry. I need to stabilize my realm so I can’t control the two immediately."

From their expressions and his actions, he can already sense that they might have discovered his truth of dual cultivation.

The old man and Moonfern nodded and they both departed.
