Chapter 171 MONKEYS
Chapter 171 MONKEYS
"Bro, I captured some of these monkeys, can you let me keep them?" Wuk returns, bringing multiple unconscious monkeys with him.
"What kind of monkeys are they?"
"Warrior Monkeys!"
Suddenly, Xi Mu exclaim when he sees the monkey Wuk was carrying.
"Warrior Monkeys?" He can’t help but ask.
"Warrior Monkeys are actually descendants of native monkeys from the past. They are called that because they like to copy human fighting styles from the past. They carry weapons and use them the way we use them."
Looking at the unconscious monkeys, Sean’s eyes lights up.
With their nature, he might be able to raise an army of monkeys that cultivate their own nascent weapons!
For others, this might be near impossible but for him, he already has a way.
Mystical Weapon Technique!
Wuk’s demonic technique, as long as the weapons they are using are compatible to them, they can refine them into nascent weapons.
"Where’s the rest?" He quickly asks.
Wuk turns to the location where he obtained them.
"Good, bring Dorgaron with you, capture all the bronze ranks and juveniles from their pack."
Seeing him being so excited, the students from City Z1 looks at each other, a glint can be seen in their eyes.
"I never expected to encounter such mystique creatures, they are perfect for my study on becoming an evolution planner!"
"Really!?" Yana’s eyes lights up, she was also working to become the best evolution planner.
"Yes, too bad that we don’t know where Landon and the others are, hopefully, principal Maki can take care of them." He sighs before bringing the unconscious monkeys into Beast World, for the silver rank ones, he heals them and let them go.
"You still hadn’t explained why they are perfect specimens for your research." Yana pouts.
"It’s the existence of nascent weapons, you should know that there’s an extremely rare group of mystique creatures that uses weapons that acts like an extension of their body."
They nod their heads.
"Just like Wuk and his cudgel and mine with Bai, I want to research a way for such creatures to obtain nascent weapons and see what kind of evolution they would reach."
Everyone can’t help but look at him with admiration, while others were focus in bloodlines and infusion of element, he is focused in different trait.
"In fact, if general Xi Mu agrees, I’m also quite interested in your army’s guardian beast, the Living Armors."
The eyes of the students from City Z1 lights up, they can’t help but look at their general.
"Of course you can, I, at least have the authority for that."
"Thank you, don’t worry, I’m going to visit each city that you guys belong to, after marking the coordinates with my rune, I will start building the space gate and will start connecting with the other cities that still exists in the zone."
He then realizes something and he looks at everyone seriously.
"If I’m successful, this means that there would be new conflict, you guys need to gain enough power to stop your city from turning chaotic."
"What about the other cities?"
"I leave them to all of you, I don’t have enough time to deal with other stuffs and since I’m fully intent on turning our city into the capital city of our zone, the rest will also probably be busy."
Everyone sighs, it seems that the busy days is going to drown them once they return to their respective city.
"General Xi Mu, I think that your group also need to build a separate city, you can’t rely on the other cities now that the boundaries has now disappeared, they wouldn’t be interested in sending more people to your army."
Xi Mu’s expression turns gloomy, he can’t deny this, their army is called the Boundary Patrol but now that the boundary doesn’t exist, why should the other cities continue to support them.
"I think that it’s better for the army to become an academy, even though City Z5 has a great school, it’s not as big and experienced as the army, you guys are much better in nurturing a group of people."
Jericho chuckles. "Yeah, each city should focus in different department in order not to compete with one another for students."
Bear’s eyes lights up, he had been fretting over their city’s future but hearing Jericho’s words, an idea forms in his mind.
Sean agrees with his best friend.
"That’s right, I’m probably going to be too busy, I wouldn’t even be staying at our school, Jericho is also not going to be present, principal and Fabuki can’t return that quickly, this is your chance to develop a brand new path for your cities."
Frost nods her head. "I’m probably going to make our school focus in nurturing ice type mystique creatures and we’re also very accepting towards other humanoid race as long as they don’t bear hostility towards our race."
"If the principal really doesn’t return after one year, I would assume his position and I’m going to use my family to create a group focused in aerial combat." John looks at his aunt in shock after hearing her words.
"I’m going to train students that walks the path of body tempering, also, if they are fond of large creatures." Bear laughs out loud.
Everyone aspires to be remembered for something, especially, the gold rank ones.
"Good! Then, I, Sean of City Z5, son of Arnold and Ghesia, son of Tsu Zaki and Brian Zaki, promised you, if you manage to nurture a student that can reach gold rank at age thirty or below, will help you reach the Innate Realm! This promise will only applicable to those that has a chance to reach Innate Realm! They either must have a bloodline, special powers, or have one additional pet beast."
Hearing this, everyone can’t help but be stunned, the Innate Realm is something that everyone of them desperately wish to reach, to be promised a path for it is what they sought after.
"What about me!? Do I have any chance on reaching Innate Realm!?" Bear can’t help but ask.
"There’s a chance, I had given you the Basic Cultivation Technique and that secret technique of yours actually hold greater mystery, if you master both, the chances of you reaching Innate Realm would be average but if you raise the bloodline of your pet beasts, especially, the first pet beast you have, your chances will be equal to that of Principal Maki."
Bear’s breathing becomes hurried, Cladiius looks at his principal, then, kneels.
"Principal, make me your disciple! In our entire city, I have the highest chance of reaching gold rank before thirty-one! Please, just teach me your secret technique!"
Bear was startled, he didn’t immediately agree and asks Sean.
"To train my technique, what should one put importance in?"
"Compatibility towards your first pet beast and it’s potential, you might not know this but after learning your technique, I realize something, it just doesn’t fuse you with your pet beast but it can actually increase your own potential equal to that of your pet beast."
Bear was stunned, this made him silent, he asks. "What is your first pet beast?"
Cladiius was stunned and instinctively answered.
"High Tier, Bronze Rank, Mammoth."
"Why did you pick it as your first pet beast?"
"Because of it’s potential."
Both Sean and Bear frowns from his answer, before the latter can say anything, the former speaks. "I think that you aren’t compatible with Bear’s secret technique."
He points at his group.
"Look at them, unlike you guys, I told them to pick the mystique creatures that are most in tune with their personality, I’m confident that they can reach the proficient stage of Bear’s secret technique because of this."
He shifts his finger and points at John. "Just like him, he’s compatible with his pet beasts, in fact, his affinity is as high as Jericho’s affinity towards Golden."
Everyone can’t help but be stunned by what he said.
Shaking his head, he looks at the girls that were still cooking, they are being helped by the soldiers but all of them are listening to their conversation.
He sits down and explains to them. "If you want to quickly reach higher rank, of course, you pick those that has higher potential and there’s nothing wrong with that but if you wish to defy the heaven and reach the Innate Realm, you are required to have affinity towards your pet beast, the more natural it is, the greater the benefit."
Everyone was silent, this is the first time they heard this, they now realize why there’s no new Innate, even the commander is an old fossil from the former era, he just look young because of a certain reason.
BAM!
They snap out from their daze as Wuk returns, carrying hundreds of moneys, Sean waves his hand and the monkeys were sent to Beast World.
"Do you want to stay and eat or return?" He asks.
"I’ll pass for now, I need to accommodate those pesky fellows, especially, the young ones, I don’t want them to get hurt."
Sean had already expected this and sent him back to Beast World.
"I’m still not as informed as those old folks but what I aspire to achieve is to uncover the many secrets of this world, I’m focused at variant evolution at the moment."
They can’t help but smile, they have heard this before, it was from Yana, she bragged it to them whenever she talks about topic that is related to evolution planner.
After eating, their group continues on their journey, this type of situation continues for an entire month.
In the Core Zone.
The situation isn’t looking good for the Tatsu Sisters.
"No matter how many times you ask, both my sister and I don’t have any intention of marrying!" Fabuki screams to the men hounding her.
"Leave." A solemn voice stops the men from continuing in pestering Fabuki, they turn pale and left.
Maki massages her head, it has been two weeks since she successfully become a true Innate.
This was supposed a happy event but because she’s the first Innate in this world after a century, she was highly sought after, not to mention humans, even members from Spiritual Alliance also wants her.
After all, she’s only thirty-six years old, this was young in the eyes of Innates who can live for five hundred years without any accident.
"Miss, your mother is calling you." A young woman steps forward, if Sean and Yana were here, they would immediately recognize this person.
One of old man Hein’s disciple, Steffany, the cousin of Flowery.
"She’s probably going to discuss about marriage once again, those bxstards from the Sichuan Clan is being unreasonable!" Fabuki can’t help but grit her teeth and complain.
Maki frowns, after thinking about it, she made a decision.
"Go to the Federation and tell them that I accept their proposal but I must be assigned to Zone Z."
Steffany bows and left, Fabuki can’t help but ask. "Big sister, do you really think that they will accept your demand?"
"I don’t know, the status of an Innate is greater than we both expect but the drawback is also quite great."
"That’s why I’m not really worried about that little guy, in terms of pure combat strength, he’s now greater than me, still, I know that he dislike shouldering all of the responsibilities that supposed to be isn’t his."
Fabuki sighs, the both of them feels that they are quite useless as teachers.
"Fabuki, if the Federation continues to deny my request, I want you to return to City Z5 with Ashie, Luna, and Amoura."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, their attention is on the two of us but mostly on me, with my new power, I can let you teleport away from the city, we just need to obtain a ship."
Avhigail enters the room, she was about to say something but Maki waves her hand.
"I know, I know, mom is calling for me."
"Not just you, Lady Maki, also, miss Fabuki too." Fabuki was surprised, she points at herself with a confused expression.
